The Deep Diver course is the highest recreational diving course that extends the range of diving depth to 40 meters within no-decompression limits. During the course, you will learn advanced diving skills, expand your knowledge, learn to plan your dives in detail, as well as develop and consolidate previously acquired skills and learn completely new ones.
During this course:
- you will dive to a depth of 40 meters for the first time at one of the wrecks in the Gdańsk Bay
- you will learn to plan and execute deep dives in detail
- you will gain knowledge about nitrogen narcosis and learn more about decompression
- you will see how depth affects your body and cognitive abilities
- and much more
Prerequisites
• must be at least 15 years old
• Advanced Open Water Diver certification or equivalent
• experience in diving to a minimum depth of 30m
• own diving equipment
if you don’t have your own diving equipment yet- don’t worry – all equipment can be rented at our Diving Center
• medical form
before starting the course, you must complete a medical form or present a medical examination confirming that there are no contraindications to diving
What awaits you during the Deep Diver course?
E-LEARNING
After starting the course, you will receive access to the training platform where you can, in the comfort of your own home, familiarize yourself with the theory related to your course, take quizzes, tests, watch instructional videos, and much more. At the end, your instructor will discuss all your questions and mistakes made during the online lesson or during a scheduled meeting.
OPEN WATER TRAINING
The next stage of your course will involve training in deep waters, within the depth range of 30-40m. During these sessions, under the watchful eye of a qualified instructor, you will perform exercises in the water column, progressively increasing the diving depth with each session. After completing this stage and passing all practical exercises, you will be able to plan and execute deep dives safely and responsibly.
THEORETICAL EXAM
Deep Diver course concludes with a theoretical exam, which you can take online or during a meeting with your instructor.
DEEP DIVER CERTIFICATE
After completing the training, you will receive an international certificate entitling you to dive to a depth of 40m. By presenting it at a diving base, you will be able to rent diving equipment and dive in any corner of the world.
Your certificate will be available online on your individual account in the PSS panel, ensuring that you always have access to it.
