Advanced OWD is the next step in exploring underwater depths.
AOWD course increases the diving depth to 30 meters, but above all, it allows for the acquisition of advanced diving skills, expands the scope of diving knowledge, develops and consolidates previously acquired skills, and teaches completely new ones.
During this course:
- For the first time, you will dive to a depth of 30 meters
- You will learn underwater navigation
- You will learn techniques to improve your buoyancy
- You will practice boat diving
- You will do your first night dive
- You will learn to plan your dives professionally
- and much more.
Prerequisites
• minimum age: 15 years
• Open Water Diver certificate or higher
• personal diving equipment
If you don’t have your own diving equipment yet – don’t worry – you can rent all the gear at our Diving Center.
• medical form
Before starting the course, you must fill out a medical form or present medical examinations confirming no contraindications to diving.
What awaits you during the Advanced Open Water Diver course?
E-LEARNING
After starting the course, you will receive access to the training platform where you can, in the comfort of your own home, familiarize yourself with the theory related to your course, take quizzes, tests, watch instructional videos, and much more. At the end, your instructor will discuss all your questions and mistakes made during the online lesson or during a scheduled meeting.
OPEN WATER TRAINING
The next stage during your course will be training in deep waters, at depths ranging from 18-30m. During these sessions, under the watchful eye of a qualified instructor, you will perform exercises in the water column, gradually increasing the depth of diving with each session. After completing this stage and passing all practical exercises, you will be able to safely and responsibly plan and execute dives.
THEORETICAL EXAM
The Advanced Open Water Diver course concludes with a theoretical exam, which you can take online or during a meeting with your instructor.
ADVANCED OPEN WATER DIVER CERTYFICATE
After completing the training, you will receive an international certificate entitling you to dive to a depth of 30m. By presenting it at a diving base, you will be able to rent diving equipment and dive in any corner of the world.
Your certificate will be available online on your individual account in the PSS panel, ensuring that you always have access to it.

You’ve completed the Advanced Open Water Diver course and you’re wondering what’s next? First and foremost, enjoy diving and hone your skills! Give yourself time – practice and dive until you feel confident with your new abilities. When you feel comfortable and at ease underwater, consider expanding your skills with a Rescue Diver or Deep Diver course.
During the Rescue Diver course, you’ll acquire skills that will allow you to respond appropriately to emergency situations both on the surface and underwater.
The Advanced Open Water Diver certification entitles you to:
- Diving without decompression to depths of 30 meters worldwide
- Renting equipment at diving centers and bases
- Refilling diving tanks at diving centers and bases
- Participating in the Advanced Diver course – Deep Diver
- Participating in other specialty courses and workshops
