Therefore, in the event of an unfortunate accident that causes injury to your health, DAN will cover the costs of your treatment or expenses related to the use of a hyperbaric chamber.

In the 1980s, thanks to Italian and American doctors, DAN (Divers Alert Network) was founded. Several years later, organizations with similar activities merged to create the largest non-commercial organization insuring divers – DAN International, consisting of several regional branches located around the world. Over the years, DAN evolved into a major insurance company for divers and their families.
DAN offers 3 types of insurance:
Suitable for all divers who travel less and need good basic insurance. It covers recreational diving (air, Nitrox) with a depth limit (max 40m) and excludes technical diving.
RECOMMENDED
for all recreational divers. It covers every type of diving, including technical diving. No depth limits.
Create for the most demanding divers. Higher insurance limits. It covers every type of diving, including technical diving. No depth limits.
The insurance covers a period of 1 year.
The following data is required for insurance:
- name and surname,
- date and place of birth,
- address (street, house/apartment number, postal code, city, country),
- phone number,
- e-mail,
- diving certification,
- diving federation
- average number of dives per year.
